Robert
Yamada Auction
We are writing to you to ask
for your assistance with fundraising for a local 21 year old Spokane
man, who was paralyzed in a swimming
accident in August. Robert
is paralyzed from the neck down and on a
ventilator.
There are many needs for
this family: medical costs that are far and above their insurance
coverage;
remodeling of their entire basement to provide Robert with his own
functional
apartment; specially equipped van; and adaptive equipment that Robert
will need
for his day to day living arrangements.
Currently we are planning a
Silent/Loud Auction for February
12, 2010 at Northern Quest Casino, in
which many people have and are continuing to donate items.
Our hope and
prayer is that you may be able to donate items that we can auction off
at the
event.
If you
were able to help us
in this fundraising, we would greatly appreciate it, as well as the
whole
Yamada Family.
Please
go to the links
provided for more information on Robert's condition, journey, and on
going
fundraisers.

I have also attached an
auction
poster to hang, as well as an auction
registration form if you would
like to attend this event. Please
feel
free to share these with others. Know
that all contributions you make will positively impact Robert Yamada
and his
family. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of our request.
We will be running this
fundraiser under a "non-profit" organization, so your donation will
be tax deductible.
Thank you in
advance,
Dawn
Yamada
