Mission The Inland Northwest Lean Management Consortium seeks out and promotes the best Lean Management practices in business, with the goal of strengthening each participating individual and member organization, while positively impacting the regional economy |
|
The Inland Northwest Lean Management Consortium was formed in early Spring of '05, based on the interests of many local businesses to have a 'formal network' in which to share Lean Management practices. The Inland Northwest Lean Management Consortium currently holds monthly meetings and periodic facility tours for our growing membership. Member organizations range from some of the area's larger manufacturing companies that compete in the global market and have sophisticated Lean programs, to many smaller or mid-range organizations working within a more regional and/or national market. Our members represent many industrial sectors, including durable goods, technology, food processing, financial services, and general merchandise distributing. Through our activities, we hope to strengthen the inland northwest's economic viability and diversity through 'total' resource development and to help guide Lean oriented educational opportunities within the area. |
